Clear Strategy for Complex Family Law Matters
Chloe Day is a family law attorney who brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to divorce, custody, support, and other complex family law matters. She has particular experience navigating cases involving multiple states, competing jurisdictions, and the procedural questions that can make an already difficult family law matter significantly more complicated.
Chloe’s experience includes matters governed by the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA) and the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA), including disputes involving interstate custody, enforcement, and jurisdiction. In January 2026, she presented oral argument before the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas in an appeal involving the UCCJEA and the question of whether the statute confers subject-matter jurisdiction. A decision in that appeal remains pending.
Her approach to difficult cases is grounded in the law. Rather than reacting to the conflict surrounding a case, Chloe focuses on the facts, the governing legal standards, and how the law can be used strategically, whether the facts are favorable or challenging. She helps clients understand where they stand, what matters most legally, and what options are realistically available to them.
That measured approach does not mean passive representation. Chloe is prepared to advocate firmly when a case requires it, while remaining focused on the strategy most likely to move the matter forward. Clients benefit from an attorney who can bring clarity to emotionally charged situations.
At McNulty Law Firm, Chloe represents clients in divorce, custody, child support, enforcement, modification, adoption, and interstate family law matters. Whether a case involves a jurisdictional dispute, an out-of-state order, or a more traditional Texas family law issue, her goal is the same: understand the law and the facts of the case, build a deliberate strategy, and help the client make informed decisions about what comes next.
