In September 2025, McNulty Law Firm officially launched in Fort Worth, Texas. Founded and led by Zena D. McNulty, it was a new firm backed by an established family law practice and serious courtroom experience.
McNulty Law Firm did not start from scratch. Zena carried what she built at Johnson McNulty into a firm of her own, intentionally shaped around the way she serves families facing complex and deeply personal legal matters.
One year later, McNulty Law Firm remains what it was built to be: a boutique family law firm offering compassionate, strategic counsel and experienced advocacy when it matters most.
Built on Experience
McNulty Law Firm represents clients in divorce, child custody, property and asset division, child support, modifications, enforcement and other family law matters, with particular experience in complex and high-conflict cases.
Based in Fort Worth, the firm’s attorneys regularly practice in the Tarrant County courts and represent clients throughout Fort Worth and surrounding counties, including Parker, Johnson, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, and Wise counties.
As owner of McNulty Law Firm, Zena is a Board Certified Family Law Attorney by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization with extensive experience handling complex and high-conflict family law matters. She is a formidable courtroom advocate and experienced litigator, representing clients through difficult hearings, trials and, when circumstances call for it, the relatively uncommon family law jury trial.

The firm’s depth extends beyond any one attorney.
Doug Wright brings more than 40 years of legal experience to the team. Chloe Day has specialized experience with complex interstate and jurisdictional family law matters, including cases involving the UCCJEA and UIFSA. Alissa Jackson works closely with Zena and has built her practice around accessible, attentive representation, with a particular interest in family law matters involving family-owned businesses.
Together, the attorneys bring different strengths to a shared approach: understand what matters most to the client, prepare thoroughly and build a strategy around the realities of the case.
