T G16 April 2026I hired Zena a couple years ago for a case with my ex-husband and child. Because of the situation and personal life issues, i was having a very hard time with everything. Zena's reputation preceded her. There were some things that were missed on one occasion that had me scared, but when i mentioned who my lawyer was, i was consistently met with reassurance. The case ended in the way i had hoped it would thanks to Zena. The most important thing about it however, wasn't really even the outcome, it was her character. Even though she is lethal in the courtroom, her actual character is genuine and compassionate. You cannot go wrong with choosing her as your representation in any matter.Posted on Google

Antonio Lara18 November 2025Zena is an incredible lawyer. End result, I was granted sole managing conservatorship of my daughter; however, that is not the only impressive part of Zena’s practice. Zena is a strong legal representative. She is a great listener and a straight shooter. She will not sugarcoat your case for business. She does not hold judgement against you. Family issues are a very tough tough and sensitive subject. Zena has an authentic and professional approach to her consultation and representation. She fought hard for me and my daughter. I hired Zena in 2020, during COVID, this was a challenging year for everyone. Court dates were backed up, and the process took longer to set court hearings, but Zena, and her staff, kept me well informed about where we were at and what to expect. This made me feel heard and eased the stress that comes along with such a sensitive case. The presiding judge was firm, but fair in the end, but when challenged, Zena spoke up boldly in my defense and favor. It is challenging to for a man to get sole conservatorship, and every case is different, but in my case, the safety of my daughter was a genuine concern, and Zena shared the same sentiment. I know she has a lot of clients, but she had a way of making me feel like I was her only one, in a good way because she kept me so well informed. She is a strong lawyer. She is fair and she cares. Not just about her firm, but about children and family. I will never forget Zena. She changed the trajectory of mine and my daughter’s lives for the best. “By their fruit you will recognize them.” Well, I had to recently rehire Zena for a child modification suit where my daughter’s mom was trying to become the sole conservator and lift geographical restrictions. So I witnessed Zena’s practice grow since I first hired her. Her staff is amazing. She has great discernment of character and it is shown through who she hires for her staff. They are all incredible! The issue was resolved and I maintained sole conservator for my daughter. I know a lot of people have negative preconceived notions towards lawyers, in general, but Zena really cares and she pours everything into practice and treats her clients respectfully and with care. I respect her strength, consultation, advice, and professionalism. Her concerns went beyond just winning, although she is great at it, but she wants what is best for children afterwards. I trust Zena. This is a long review, and I rarely give reviews, but I feel this is the least I can do to show my gratitude. Hiring Zena is worth every effort it takes to pay her for her representation. I am grateful to have met her and thankful beyond what this review can express for her representation. Anthony Grant22 April 2025Johnson McNulty handled our Termination/Adoption case for us. Amongst all of the chaos and emotions that come with such a case, our attorneys handled everything with great confidence and even better execution. Our original attorney, Zena did get called away on another case during our termination hearing, but Chloe stepped in and was amazing, almost as if there was no disconnect from one to the other. A seamless transition! All of this to say, if you engage the firm to help you, regardless of who handles your case, you're in excellent hands. Chloe fought the termination case with such zeal and dedication. It was truly spectacular to watch her and our son's Ad Litem work! It gave us an overwhelming sense of confidence. Chloe shut the book on the termination and Zena rejoined us to finalize the adoption. As far as pricing goes, I think this type of case is typically pretty expensive, but for us it was worth every penny. Between Johnson McNulty, the Ad Litem, and the home evaluation, we spent just over $10k. The folks at Johnson McNulty advise you upfront how to keep your billing as low as possible. They're not trying to break the bank unnecessarily. You can't have a better team in your corner than Johnson McNulty!Posted on Google
